Featuring among others: Jake Bugg, Seun Kuti, Deki Alem, Lord Apex, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Elias B. Ronnenfelt & Gabriel Ferrandini
Isolation Budapest, a festival jointly organised by the Liszt Fest and Akvárium Klub, has entered its third year. The philosophy remains the same, with the most exciting artists from the international and national music scene taking to the stage, while the line-up is stronger than ever before. One of the most prominent British songwriters of the 2010s, Jake Bugg is coming to Budapest, as is Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, who will perform with his father’s band, Egypt 80. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, who once had David Bowie among their fans, will give an intimate “piano and voice” solo concert at the Akvárium Klub. Elias B. Ronnenfelt, the singer of the critically acclaimed Danish band, Iceage, and Gabriel Ferrandini, one of Portugal’s most versatile percussionists, bring their joint project, which is all the more exciting because their last and only concert took place five years ago.
This program of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Akvárium Klub.
