Formed in 1969, Uriah Heep from Britain is one of the most important bands in rock history as apart from Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, they were responsible for creating the sound of the classic hard rock period. What sets their melodic songs apart are their beautifully constructed, polyphonic vocals, the inimitable sound of the Hammond organ, as well as the use of jazz, country and progressive elements.

Their greatest hits – Lady In Black, Easy Livin’, July Morning or Gypsy – have becoming unmistakable fixtures of rock history. They sold over 45 million records across the globe and over their career, they’ve performed in over 60 different countries.

Over the band’s nearly fifty year-long career, numerous members have been replaced and only guitarist Mick Box remains as the founding member of the group, yet the current configuration provides driving, captivating concerts. They’ve performed in Hungary on multiple occasions to critical acclaim, most recently in 2015, but now they’re back again to deliver a truly amazing evening of music for their Hungarian fans. They’re touring in support of their new album entitled Living The Dream which is set to hit the shops in August.

The opening act will be Budapest vintage rocker, Amberjack.
