Legendary American indie-rock band of 90s, established by Lou Barlow, makes its first appearance in Budapest, delivering a concert on 21 March at Akvárium Klub.
American indie-rock band Sebadoh was founded in 1988 by Eric Gaffney and the bassist of well-known 80s band Dinosaour Jr., Lou Barlow. After Barlow departed from his iconic band at the end of the eighties, Sebadoh quickly grew out of its initial bedroom project status, playing a major role in the lo-fi movement. The band left an impressive oeuvre on the indie rock scene and is regarded by the industry as one of the biggest American indie bands of the early nineties, alongside Pavement.
After a brief hiatus in the early 2000s, they returned with their 8th LP in 2013, followed by their 9th long-player in May of 2019, entitled Act Surprised.
Apart from hosting concerts and electronic music events, it’s an ideal venue for conferences, exhibitions, seated and gala events, product demonstrations, family events and miscellaneous corporate events. The hall can be utilized without a sound limit!
