You can now show your talent on a stage at Akvárium!

Open Mic is simple: you sign up and come play, or just show up, and chances are you’ll still play. Advance sign-ups get 15 minutes playing time, or as arranged with organizer, walk-ins play in the function of time available: 1-2-3 songs.

So if you’re a traveling musician, aspiring amateur or experimenting pro, this is probably an ideal way for you to play with a low overhead: no special management or contacts necessary.

Are you audience? You’re in for a diverse night of music, that’s for sure; you might even be able to put your friend on stage if you can convince them (and if they can play some music).

The fine print: This is typically an acoustic performance by one-man-bands or small acoustic lineups, setup time is minimal. Organizer reserves the right to pre-select or reject performers and establish order of acts. Mics, jack cables and – if needed – an acoustic guitar will be provided.
