For the first time in Hungary – MAN WITH A MISSION.
On June 17, the world-renowned Japanese rock band MAN WITH A MISSION will perform in Budapest for the very first time. Famous for their unique appearance – wolf-headed, human-bodied characters – and their high-energy live performances, the band will take the stage at Akvárium Klub, where fans can expect an intense and spectacular live show.
Behind the wolf masks lies the experiment of biologist and hobby guitarist Jimi Hendrix – at least according to the band’s origin story – who sought to create the ultimate, advanced life form. The creatures he created possessed incredible brainpower and superhuman physical abilities, which ultimately turned to the service of darkness. As a result, Dr. Jimmy decided to freeze them in Antarctica. However, due to global warming, they awoke from their eternal sleep in 2010 and have since been roaming the world once again. Since their awakening, the band has quickly become a defining force on the international rock scene, thanks to their unique sound and dynamic live performances.
Their songs have been featured in numerous commercials, films, TV series, and anime productions, including as the theme song of the global hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc. The theme song, titled “Kizuna no Kiseki / Koikogare,” was created in collaboration with Japanese singer-songwriter Milet, further expanding their already broad fan base.
Over more than 15 years of activity, the band has released seven studio albums. In November 2021 and May 2022, they unveiled a consecutive album pair, their latest full-length records, Break and Cross the Walls I and Break and Cross the Walls II. Following the success of these albums, additional new songs have also been released.
In recent years, the band has toured across North America and Europe and continues to build an ever-growing global fan base. The Budapest concert is one stop on the band’s current European tour, meaning that in 2026, Hungarian audiences will finally have the chance to see them live.
At the June 17 concert, the audience will hear not only their biggest hits but also new songs, delivered with the band’s signature overwhelming energy and spectacular stage production at Akvárium Klub.
