Isolation Budapest – Jordan Rakei, Yellow Days and more
Kapunyitás: 17:00
Akvárium Klub
On October 11, the Müpa, Liszt Festival and Akvárium Klub will host the fourth edition of Isolation Budapest, a festival dedicated once again to showcasing the most exciting voices of the Hungarian and international underground music scene.
This year’s headliners are familiar names for fans of today’s soul, jazz and indie: Jordan Rakei and Yellow Days, two of the most influential artists of the past decade. They will be joined by Madrid’s all-female indie-rock band Hinds (who recently released a track with Beck and collaborated with Fontaines D.C.’s Grian Chatten), the Norwegian-American singer-songwriter Okay Kaya, the sharp voice of British hip-hop Jeshi, and rising London indie star Martin Luke Brown.
Alongside the international acts, three unique Hungarian projects will also take the stage: the dreamy and melancholic Fictional Heat, the jazz–hip hop infused Sitmob, and the dark experimental electronics of Polldarier.
The concerts are presented as part of the Liszt Festival, in collaboration with Akvárium Klub, organized by Müpa.
