Budapest Ritmo, one of the most important world music festivals in Central Europe, will bring the best of the scene back to the heart of the Hungarian capital in 2024. On Saturday, the concert programme at Akvárium Klub continues with the most exciting performers of world music. The undimmed star of West African music, living Mali legend, Salif Keita will step on stage. Sail the seas with Italian pirates, and listen to the songs of Welsh minstrels and Estonian balladeers. While Luca Bassanese and La Piccola Orchestra Popolare will raise the spirits of those eager to shake a leg, Welsh and Estonian harp virtuosos will lead whoever is open to a deeper musical experience into the unknown, and DJ Sabs will give a new spin to Balkan party music.
The concerts are jointly presented by Müpa Budapest and Hangvető in the framework of the Bartók Spring.
