More than a decade after the worldwide success of Netzwerk, Klangkarussell opens a new chapter—and brings it to Budapest as well. The Austrian duo will present their new album Petrichor on April 30, 2026, on the stage of Akvárium Klub, marking the beginning of a new era in their sound.
As the creators of Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine), Adrian Held and Tobias Rieser are not only pioneers of tropical house, but also masters of emotionally charged electronic music. Petrichor is a deeper, more cinematic journey, filled with euphoric and emotional moments and the meeting of organic and electronic textures. The album features tracks such as the hypnotic opening Truth Begins, the disco-tinged Ride, and the deeply personal Cross The Border. For the first time in over ten years, the duo returns with a completely new live act concept—and Budapest is a key stop in this new chapter.

Beyond its elegant and attractive design, the club’s main hall features a unique sound system and optionally configurable spatial elements. The Main Hall is the perfect venue for professional stage productions, fashion shows, major concerts, conferences, seated and gala events as well as car shows. Its unique sound system and sound insulation makes the Main Hall of Akvárium Klub one of the best concert halls in the city. The concert hall can be utilized without a sound limit!
