Beyond its elegant and attractive design, the club’s main hall features a unique sound system and optionally configurable spatial elements. The Main Hall is the perfect venue for professional stage productions, fashion shows, major concerts, conferences, seated and gala events as well as car shows. Its unique sound system and sound insulation makes the Main Hall of Akvárium Klub one of the best concert halls in the city. The concert hall can be utilized without a sound limit!

Revamped in February 2017, the newly designed and renamed Lokál is capable of hosting 300 people. It’s the perfect alternative to the two concert halls of Akvárium Klub with its beautiful and unique cocktails, impressive interior design and special parties hosted every Friday and Saturday night. The room can be utilized without a sound limit!

The Terrace of Akvárium Klub is one of the most popular meeting places of Budapest, where everyone is sure to show up. Making good use of the location, the Terrace is still the most popular downtown promotional site. The crowds in Erzsébet square can enjoy a range of events appropriate to the season on Akvárium Klub’s Terrace, including thematic sports, music, literature, dining and design fair attractions. These events are a great opportunity for the targeted exposure of brands.

Situated in the center of the city, yet still underwater, Akvárium Bistro is located directly under the pool of Akvárium Klub, with a capacity of 80 people. The sunrays filtered through the waves are sure to create a unique atmosphere for the unadulterated bistro dishes supplemented by cheap and fresh daily offers, yet it’s also the perfect spot for a great cup of coffee or cocktails. Lunch is served from noon to 6 pm, followed by bar food from 6 pm to closing hours.

The conference center is located in a separate wing. It can be
artitioned into 2 separate spaces, if needed. The facility is equipped with separate washrooms.

Technical background

A key element of the refurbishment of Akvárium Klub was the replacement of the entire sound system and array of visual devices. Apart from the Main Hall’s 7 x 2.5-meter LED wall and the unique lighting system, a fully equipped studio has been established at the club, which allows for the professional recording or live streaming of events. Combined with the top-quality Martin Audio sound system, these features ensure that the tour buses of well-known foreign musical productions no longer stop in Vienna and instead come to Budapest. The range of top quality devices also provides corporate events with a unique opportunity to utilize the club’s impeccable sound and visual technology.
