Ukrainian world music madness at Akvárium Klub
Ukrainian folk quartet, DarkhBrakha is stopping by Akvárium Klub on 25 May. The band was established as part of the performances of a contemporary theater group as a project of the DAKH Contemporary Art Center of Kiev in 2004. Their name actually means “give-take” in Ukrainian. Their music is a blend of Ukrainian, Russian and Slavic traditions with a hint of Indian, Arabian or Australian instruments with some added electronics, from minimal techno to psycho-trance. One thing’s for sure – as one of the best concert bands of the world music scene, they provide an absolutely incredible experience when performing live, undoubtedly making this a must-see event.
Apart from hosting concerts and electronic music events, it’s an ideal venue for conferences, exhibitions, seated and gala events, product demonstrations, family events and miscellaneous corporate events. The hall can be utilized without a sound limit!
