One of hip-hop’s most charismatic voices, Chali 2na comes to Budapest with a live band on June 11, 2026, at Akvárium Klub’s KisHall, delivering a special concert where classic boom bap meets funk, soul, and modern grooves.
The legendary MC, known as a founding member of Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, has carved his place in hip-hop history. His deep baritone voice, playful flow, and commanding stage presence are instantly recognizable, making him one of the genre’s most celebrated performers for decades.
In his solo career, Chali 2na has proven his artistry with albums like Fish Outta Water, while touring the world multiple times with his band House of Vibe, bringing hip-hop in its most authentic live form. His artistry extends beyond music: his paintings, drawings, and photography create a unique visual world that bridges graffiti and fine art.
Opening the night is UK funk and breakbeat specialist DJ A-Skillz, whose energetic set will set the perfect tone for the evening.
