Following the internationally acclaimed All That Matters (Leopard, 2024) album, the 26-year-old rising star and WDR Jazz Award winner Simon Oslender reunites his dream team – led by groove legend Steve Gadd (Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, James Taylor), widely regarded for decades as one of the world’s greatest drummers, known for his subtle and refined playing style.
On bass, Gadd’s longtime friend and musical companion, the brilliant Will Lee (Chaka Khan, Brecker Brothers, George Benson), joins the lineup. Lee has contributed to over 3,000 recordings and was a pillar of the David Letterman Show band for more than 30 years. Together, Gadd and Lee form one of the most celebrated and in-demand rhythm sections in modern music history. Completing the lineup is Europe’s leading groove specialist on guitar, Bruno Müller (Till Brönner, Bob James, Mezzoforte), whose fresh and sensitive playing style truly stands out.
